180 Brand Activations for Samsung Galaxy S5 launch across India

Korean MNC and electronics giant – Samsung Electronics launched Galaxy S5 in its popular smart phone segment in India in March earlier this year. Samsung planned a three month activation campaign across tier 1 and tier 2 Indian cities. The activity intended to create buzz and acquaint customers with the phone’s high end features.

Samsung Galaxy S5 activations were divided into 3 phases:

  1. Demo zone in a mall in Mumbai and Delhi to check initial response.
  2. Mall Activations across 11 cities in India.
  3. Corporate Activations in 7 Indian metropolitans.

 

Insta was onboard as a Single Point of Contact for the above phases including complete project planning and management. A customized set up for the Demo zone was manufactured at their in-house plant. Creeya™ modular solution was used for Mall Activations and Corporate Activations in Phase 2 and 3 of the campaign. This facilitated a re-usable solution to maintain competitive price and speed of installation for a project of this scale. Overall, practical implications of Samsung’s designs were ensured irrespective of multiple venues set up restrictions and I&D; timelines.

The kits were stored at Insta’s strategically located warehouses until next show date. Insta’s dynamic team also ensured smooth execution of all events that needed to run parallelly across multiple locations with short deadlines.

Brand Communication for 200+ Tata Motors Dealership for ‘ZEST’

Tata Motors launched Tata ‘Zest’ – A compact sedan in the passenger vehicle segment in August. Zest was Tata Motors’ new offering in four years and hence all eyes were on its launch. As part of its marketing campaign, Tata Motors needed Zest branding for their 200+ dealership network across India.

Insta’s AIRLITE™ portable retail kits were offered and finalized by Tata Motors for their dealer showrooms. Design and manufacturing for Zest dealer kits were bound by strict timelines since the activity would be preceded by collateral ATL marketing for its new model. Airlite™ solution’s tool less attribute allowed dealers to set up the kits in less than 1 hour with the help of a step by step instruction manual. A special ‘Zest kit’ installation video was also created to help dealers with its quick set up.

‘Do It Yourself’ Modular Solution for CIPLA at MTS 2014, Kuala Lumpur

Global Pharmaceutical Company, Cipla participated at the Malaysian Thoracic Society (MTS) Congress 2014. The event was co-organized with the Lung Foundation of Malaysia (LFM). MTS is an annual congress that brings some of biggest names in the pharmaceutical industry under one roof.

Insta provided a Creeya™ ‘Do-it-yourself’ modular solution for Cipla’s International Exhibiting participation. The brief was given by the Cipla Corporate office in Mumbai. Installations and execution would be completed by Cipla’s local team in Malaysia.

Insta assigned a dedicated client servicing team to co-ordinate with Cipla in Mumbai and Malaysia. Manufacturing, Packing and Logistics were taken care of by Insta. A special set up drawing, instructions manual and Creeya™ set up videos were given to Cipla Malaysia for a ‘Do-It-Yourself’ installation. Our engineering team did a conference call with the team in Malaysia to close loopholes and execute the installation smoothly.

 Cipla Malaysia was able to complete the ‘Do-it-yourself’ installation with ease. Their participation at MTS 2014 went off smoothly.

Shell Scheme or Space Only? The Right Choice for You

So you’ve decided upon an exhibition platform for your brand. What next? Choosing  the right space to exhibit.

Event organizers offer 2 types of exhibition space – Shell Scheme and Space Only. To choose the right space, you must understand what each of these have to offer.

Shell scheme
Shell scheme stands consist of a booth with basic elements such as carpet, table & chairs and fascia. Utilities like electricity sockets and water may be provided by the organizer. Generally, a row of such identical stands are pre-built and sold as a shell scheme package. These are 2 or 3 side open; ceiling may or may not be present. Optional branding elements such as pop-ups, kiosks and brochure stands can be arranged separately by sub-contracting. Expenses for these must be borne by the exhibitor.

Space only
Organizer will only provide raw space. Everything else must be arranged by the exhibitor. Exhibition services contractors can be hired to build your booth from scratch. Space only does not have height or area restrictions like shell scheme. Sky is the limit for creativity.

Which one is right for you?
Shell scheme booths are expensive when buying, but fall cheaper in the long run since basic items are provided as a package by the organizer. Go for shell scheme if it is your first time at the exhibition. They are cost effective and a viable option for SME’s on a tight budget.

Space only is cheaper when buying but has additional expenses of booth design, fabrication and I&D. If you have exhibited at the show earlier and/or are confident of better ROI, opt for Space only. These booths help stand out from the crowd. MNC’s and companies with large portfolio prefer these for its flexibility. If not limited by budget constraints, space only is an apt choice.
